What’s Missing? The Story Behind Unlisted Products at Con-Cor...

If you’ve noticed some of your favorite Con-Cor items missing from our website—don’t worry, they haven’t vanished for good. A lot is happening behind the scenes as we transition into a new era under fresh management.

New Leadership, New Direction

Con-Cor is now under new management, and with that comes exciting changes. We’ve started relocating portions of our manufacturing to Mexico, under the leadership of our former plant manager who has over 40 years of experience and has worked on nearly every Con-Cor product ever made.

With our headquarters still based in Tucson—just 40 minutes from the U.S./Mexico border—this shift allows us to reduce production costs, accelerate turnaround times, and avoid global shipping delays.

Bringing Back the Classics

We’re preparing to reintroduce some of Con-Cor’s most iconic collectible locomotives, including the Galloping Goose, Aero Train, M-10000, and the Burlington Zephyr. Before these classics return, we’re inspecting and restoring our tooling to ensure quality and compatibility with modern model railroading standards. These new runs will include updated mechanisms, full DCC support, and enhanced sound decoders—we’re actively working with leading manufacturers to deliver the best possible experience.

Why Certain Items Aren’t Listed Yet

We’re still deep in the process of inventorying, photographing, and organizing our stock. Here’s what’s going on behind the scenes:

  • HO & N Scale Passenger Cars: Some models are waiting on missing parts or painted bodies. Once we have what we need and verify stock, we’ll begin listing them and planning reruns as necessary.

  • Old-Time Passenger Cars: Limited body shells remain in inventory. These will be listed soon, with more in production down the line.

  • HO MuMP4s & P-54s: These are being organized now and will be listed once inventory is confirmed.

  • N Scale DC/DCC Steam Locomotives: We have a stockpile of these in storage that still need testing before they’re available for sale.

Parts & Repairs – What You Need to Know

Going forward, Con-Cor’s website will focus on offering common replacement parts such as trucks, couplers, and wheelsets.

We’ve partnered with Blue Flag Model Trains to become our official repair and parts center. However, please note: they have not yet received a full inventory of parts from us, so they are currently not able to fulfill part orders. For now, they are only handling repairs of existing Con-Cor models. We’ll make a formal announcement once Blue Flag is fully stocked and ready to take parts requests.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work to bring Con-Cor into a new chapter. We’re committed to getting everything listed, restocked, and back on track—one step at a time.
